My Kind of Late Taste of Chicago Miniview

Last Sunday was super super hot, but I lured by the promise of delicious food I still found my way to the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. It was the first time I'd been in years and years, and was a last minute decision really. I didn't take many pictures, but here a few highlights.

The first stop we hit was free coffee, because naturally hot coffee is the first thing you want in 100 million degree weather surrounded by hot sweater people and cooking stations. :)

Churro Factory Funnel Cakes with Ice cream:

Corn on the cob! ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUMMER THINGS TO EAT IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING:

Yum Dum pop up restaurant with cute logo and delicious kimchi fries:

I could eat kimchi on almost everything. Weirdly enough have gone an entire lifetime without experiencing the magic that is kimchi fries I have them twice in one week this time:

And finishing the day with donut ice cream sandwiches from Firecakes. "Ok, look like you're both not melting faster than the ice cream in the sun and you LIKE it!" (Outtakes for this photo are posted on my Facebook page :p ).
