Herb-N-Juice Mini Review

Herb-N-Juice Mini Review

Although I have a lot of sugary treats on my feed, I actually prefer fresh vegetables and fruits. Growing up we always had a garden in my backyard, and one of my first "Foodcellfie" pictures is little me happily munching away on sliced radishes and cucumbers from the garden. So I was really excited to try some of these Herb-N-Juice fresh, pressed juices. I sampled the Green-N-Lean (pear, cucumber, kale, spinach, parsley, ginger, lemon, lime, mint) and the Orange Sunshine (orange, apple, carrot, celery, ginger) and followed their advice to "drink the green juice 15-20 minutes before a meal to help your body absorb all of the vitamins and nutrients from what you're eating."

My favorite of the two was the Green-N-Lean, although it might look a little scarier, it was delicious! It tasted very fresh and slightly sweet, but not overly so. The cucumber shines through and I really liked the hint of mint. I did drink it before a meal, and tried my best to eat something healthy afterwards. I did this for lunch and dinner one day, and the next day I drank the Orange Sunshine for breakfast with some toast. The Orange Sunshine is also very good, it's best to make sure you shake this one up first. This was a more traditional set of flavors for juices, and I felt really refreshed afterwards.

You can find their juices in sets ($60) on their website, with different goals in mind (like Detox or Energy.) They also make smoothies and candles besides fresh pressed juices. This would be a great way to kickstart the new year!
